Position: Sales Manager

We’re seeking a performance-driven Sales Manager to lead our outbound and inbound sales efforts across our Shopify app portfolio. You’ll play a key role in developing sales strategies, nurturing leads, closing deals, and building a repeatable, scalable sales engine. This is a hands-on leadership role with high visibility and direct impact on revenue growth.

What you will do

Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management

  • Develop and execute sales strategies that align with business goals and growth targets

  • Build, manage, and optimize the sales pipeline across inbound and outbound channels

  • Use CRM tools to track opportunities, analyze conversion metrics, and forecast revenue

  • Identify market segments and verticals with the highest potential for expansion

Lead Generation & Conversion

  • Manage lead qualification, discovery, product demos, and deal negotiation

  • Collaborate with marketing to align on lead gen efforts, campaigns, and content needs

  • Refine sales messaging and materials based on feedback and performance data

  • Actively pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities across CPTN’s app portfolio

Team Building & Leadership

  • Hire, train, and manage sales representatives as the team scales

  • Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and provide regular coaching and feedback

  • Foster a high-performance culture built on ownership, results, and collaboration

  • Work closely with Customer Success and Product to ensure smooth post-sale transitions

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Stay informed on eCommerce and Shopify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs

  • Share insights with the product team to influence roadmap and positioning

  • Report sales performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership

Must‑Have Experience

  • 4+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with a track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets

  • 2+ years in a leadership role managing or mentoring sales reps

  • Strong understanding of solution-based and consultative sales techniques

  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive)

  • Proven ability to own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bonus Points

  • Experience selling Shopify apps or SaaS products in the eCommerce space

  • Familiarity with product-led sales motions or partnerships-driven growth

  • Background in selling to SMBs, startups, or digitally native brands

  • Multilingual proficiency or experience with international markets
